Our group found a lonely plant growing in the cracks of concrete near the Kowalski’s Now. The reason we found this plant to be art is because against all odds it managed to flourish and grow in a difficult environment. This idea coincides with our day to day lives as most of us struggle with the event of life however we have the potential to blossom and flourish given our current circumstances. As Mewtwo from Pokemon said, “The circumstances of one’s birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.” I believe this quote encapsulates the essence of this art piece found on the CSULB campus.
