1. The medium that Destiny decided to express her art was through photography, a short behind-the-scenes film and a questionnaire. The room is set up with the questionnaire at the entrance to make the reader think about the themes of beauty and the process people put into how they present themselves but we as viewers do not tend to see the process it takes to achieve said beauty. Next we see photographs of the artist in various pictures showcasing how she looked after she did her makeup and dressed up. Lastly there was a short film at the end that demonstrated the process of Destiny getting ready to take those photos previously mentioned. You are shown in the video Destiny putting make up on as well as a cameraman following her to take the photos of her. 
2. The art piece was a way to demonstrate the process of what people see in various forms of media of their best selves, yet most of the viewers lack the insight of the work that goes into a person’s presentation. Destiny also makes the viewer question if whether or not discovering about the behind-the-scenes work detaches you from the initial beauty perceived? 
3. My thoughts on this art piece made me relate to the digital age and social media. On social media people want to put their best photos to showcase their lives but the truth is all people go through good and bad times. The facade of a perfect life on social media makes people constantly compare themselves to an unrealistic expectation of how life should be, because it excludes the bad times that we all experience. All the effort in order to get the perfect photo to demonstrate beauty should not come from the photo itself but the source, the real thing, the subject. Beauty is not just the outside but on the inside as well.
